Women’s STC Authority discusses draft plan for next year and stresses importance of accommodating the needs of southern women

The Auxiliary Women’s Authority of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its second regular meeting for the month of August on Monday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, Chairman of the Authority.

In its meeting, the Authority discussed the draft plan of the Authority for next year 2025, stressing the importance of accommodating all the needs of southern women in the draft plan of the Women and Children Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, as well as the draft plan of the departments and committees represented in it.

The Authority’s meeting urged the Women and Children Committee in the National Assembly of the Transitional Council to submit the draft plan of the committee at the next meeting.

At the end of its meeting, the Authority addressed a number of topics included in its agenda and took the necessary measures regarding them.
