Workshop for the Southern Journalists Syndicate on Reconciliation and Tolerance in Lahj

The Training and Qualification Department of the Southern Journalists Syndicate hosted a workshop on Saturday, entitled “The Role of the Media in Spreading the Culture of Reconciliation, Tolerance and Development”, at the headquarters of the Journalists Syndicate in Lahj.
In the workshop, Aidarous Bahashwan, head of the Southern Journalists Syndicate, revealed that the workshop is the first for the Journalists Syndicate in Lahj governorate, stressing the intention to hold more events and seminars in the field of training and qualification to expand the scope of participation.
In turn, Ahmed Molaikan, head of the syndicate branch in Lahj, pointed out its importance in spreading the culture of reconciliation, tolerance and development, stressing the role of the media in conveying this lofty message among the community and bringing viewpoints closer together, for his part, Dr. Yasser Ba’azab said that the media is an effective partner in the process of sustainable development and rejecting hatred.
The workshop witnessed great interest by the participating journalists of Lahj governorate, who presented intervenes that enriched the workshop and gained the attention of them through what was discussed in it.
