Yemen Airways launches its first flights between Aden the capital and Dubai via Al-Rayyan Airport

Yemen Airways, on Monday, resumed its first flights to Dubai Airport in the United Arab Emirates via Al-Rayyan Airport, after a ten-year hiatus, since the outbreak of war in the country in 2015.

The Yemenia plane was received upon its arrival at Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemen Airways, Captain Nasser Mahmoud, and the Deputy Director General for Commercial Affairs, Mr. Mohsen Ali Haidara.

During the ceremony held on this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yemenia, Captain Nasser Mahmoud, stressed the importance of operating the Aden-Dubai line, after a hiatus that lasted about 10 years, explaining that this comes within the company’s plans and directions regarding expanding new destinations.

Captain Nasser Mahmoud praised the leadership of the two brotherly countries, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates, and the fraternal relations and aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries, praising the various aspects of the Emirati support for our country in various fields, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the concerned authorities represented by the Ministry of Transport and the Aviation Authority in the two countries, for their efforts and cooperation in Facilitating the resumption of Yemenia flights to Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai.
