Zemam Discusses Support of the Banking Sector to Restore its Economic Role and Restoring Monetary Cycle to Yemeni Banks with US Ambassador
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Riyadh – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Dr. Mohamed Mansour Zemam, governor of Central Bank of Yemen, discussed the mechanisms of reactivating the economic and monitoring functions of the Central Bank of Yemen over the Yemeni Banking Sector, including support of the banking sector to restore its economic role and restoring the monetary cycle in Yemeni banks. This came as Zemam received the US ambassador, Matthew Tuiler, in Riyadh. The meeting also discussed technical support to all branches of Central Bank of Yemen and US efforts to restore its relations with corresponding banks. The meeting asserted the importance of Yemeni Banks to comply with international requirements under supervision of the Central Bank of Yemen as a national system that serves Yemen and Yemeni people.
