The capital, Aden, on Saturday, hosted a marathon organized by the Anti-Narcotics and Physical and Sports Training Departments of the Security Belt Forces, with the participation of 100 contestants.
The race started, with the wide participation of the clubs of the capital, Aden, and members of the security belt, with the support of the Commander-in-Chief of the security belt, Brigadier General Mohsen Abdullah Al-Wali.
The race started in front of the runway of the airport of the capital, Aden, on the bridge line, reaching the finish point in front of Al-Buraihi Hospital, with a distance of 2.5 km, as part of the celebration of the International Day against Drugs.
The Mansoura club runners topped the first three places, and the first place went to the runner Abdo Ali Hatma, and Samer Omar Jaber won the second place, and the runner Rami Alaa Ali won the third place.
At the end of the race, the winners received cups, medals, and financial awards in honor of their athletic brilliance.
The contestants appreciated the keenness of the General Command of the Security Belt, represented by Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, sponsor of the competition, and the staff of the Security Belt Forces, Brigadier Jalal Al-Rubaie, to organize sporting events.
