Al-Ahly of Egypt beat the Qatari Al-Duhail in quarter-finals of Clubs World Cup

Egypt’s Al-Ahly overcame the Qatari Al-Duhail with a dramatic victory (1-0), on Thursday evening, in the quarter-finals of the Clubs World Cup, hosted by Qatar.

Al-Ahly qualified with this victory to the semi-finals, to set a date to face Bayern Munich, next Monday, while Al-Duhail will play on Sunday against South Korean Ulsan Hyundai, in fifth and sixth places.

Hussein Al Shahat scored the only goal of the game with a powerful shot in the minute 30, and the video technology VAR canceled a second goal scored by Walter Bwalya for Al-Ahly due to offside.
