Al-Saqqaf discusses with Facilities Guard Forces mechanism for securing “Aden Capital Derby” football match

Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, met on Wednesday, with the Commander of the First Battalion of the Facilities Guard Forces, Yasser Al-Ahjal, as well as the Deputy Commander of the Brigade for Oversight and Inspection Affairs, Mohammed Al-Sawlaba.

The meeting discussed the mechanism for securing the capital Aden derby football match between Al-Tilal and Wehdat Aden teams, which comes within the matches of round 16 of the Aden Premier League, as the match is scheduled to be held at Wehdat Aden Martyrs Stadium in Sheikh Othman District next Friday afternoon.

The meeting also discussed the security arrangements that will accompany the match to control its rhythm by arranging the process of entry and exit of the audience in the stadium, and determining and arranging the places of fans of both teams in the stands, in order to avoid any riots that may result from crowd contact.

The meeting approved a number of important arrangements and procedures that will be worked on in coordination and cooperation with stadium security to secure this distinguished derby, which sports fans are eagerly anticipating.
