Bulgaria imposes a draw against Italy

The Bulgarian national football team imposed a 1-1 draw against its host Italy, in the match that took place on Thursday, at the Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence, in the framework of the fourth round of the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

Federico Chiesa put Italy ahead in the 16th minute, while Atanas Iliev scored for Bulgaria in the 39th minute.

With this draw, Italy raised its score to 10 points in first place in Group C, while Bulgaria raised its score to two points in fourth place.
