The match was held in preparations of the Saudi national team for FIFA World Cup – Russia 2018. Said Al-Rubaiy, defender of the Saudi team scored the first Iraqi goal by mistake on the 21st minute, followed by Emad Hasan who scored the second goal on the 47th minute, then Iraqi attacker Muhannad Ali scored two goals on 57th and 72nd minutes, while Hasan Moaz scored the only Saudi goal in the 57th minutes. Saudi national team previously defeated Moldova National team 3-0. The Saudi team will play in the first group in FIFA World Cup with Egypt, Uruguay and Russia from June 14th to July 15th.
