Manchester United achieved a precious victory against its guest Aston Villa, 2-1, at Old Trafford, on Friday, in the 17th round of the Premier League.

Manchester United scored twice, by Anthony Martial in the 40th minute and Bruno Fernandez in the 61st minute, while Bertrand Traore scored the only goal for Aston Villa in the 58th minute.

With that result, Manchester United raised its score to 33 points in second place, with goals difference than the leader Liverpool, while Aston Villa’s stuck at 26 points in sixth place.
