Officially.. Egypt 2021 Men’s Handball World Championship without fans attendance

Hisham Nasr, President of the Egyptian Handball Federation and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the 2021 World Championship, confirmed that the World Cup will be held without public attendance, based on a decision taken today, Sunday.

Nasr indicated in exclusive statements at Laila Kora that the organizing committee decided, in a final way, a short while ago to hold championship matches without an audience due to the repercussions of the Corona virus.

Nasr added: “A meeting was held today between Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the championship, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports and Rapporteur of the Supreme Committee, and Dr. Hassan Mustafa, President of the International Handball Federation, Hussein Labib, Director of the Tournament in my presence, during which stability was achieved To hold championship matches without an audience permanently. ”

Egypt will host the tournament from next Wednesday to January 31, with the participation of 32 teams for the first time in the history of the world championships.
