STC in Hadramaut Concludes Beach Volleyball Championship as Part of AL-BALDA Festival Sports Games

The beach volleyball championship concluded at dawn on Saturday, in the city of Mukalla. The championship was organized by the Youth and Sports Department of the Executive Authority of the Southern Transitional Council’s local leadership in Hadramaut Governorate, as part of the AL-BALDA festival sports games, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Department of the General Secretariat.

At the conclusion of the championship, which was witnessed by a large crowd, Al-Kuraihi Kanaan, Head of the Youth and Sports Department, along with the directors of the youth and sports departments in Hadramaut and Shabwa Governorates and the Hadramaut Valley Auxiliary Authority, crowned the Ahqaf Al-Manqad team as the champions after defeating the Qalat Buaish team in the final match, with two sets to none. This was an exciting encounter that witnessed high technical levels from both teams.

The tournament lasted for three days, with the participation of eight sports teams representing districts from the Hadhramaut Coast and Valley. The Beach Boxing Championship is scheduled to begin on Sunday, with the participation of several clubs from the Hadhramaut Coast and Valley, as part of the AL-BALDA festival’s sporting events program.
