The Chairman of the National Assembly praises global achievement of the physical strength team champions

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly, on Thursday, at the Assembly’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, received the delegation of the physical strength sport team, after their successful participation in the World Championship that was recently held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Al-Kathiri praised the amazing success achieved by the champion players and their winning of 16 various medals, congratulating them on this great achievement and their record of an honorable presence for the capital, Aden, and the south in this global forum.

The Chairman of the National Assembly reiterated that the leadership of the Transitional Council is keen to provide the necessary support and assistance to all southern athletes, enabling them to achieve more achievements and successes during the coming period.

For his part, Captain Arhab Hussein Yassin, President of the General Federation of Physical strength, explained that the Federation is newly established and is on the right path, and has proven its success in achieving Arab and international achievements, expressing his thanks for the support of the Transitional Council, led by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council, for the Federation, standing by it, and facilitating its adoption as member of the International Federation of the Game.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al Kathiri presented the shield of excellence and success on behalf of the National Assembly to the members of the team on the occasion of their achieving advanced positions in the recent World Championship.

The meeting was attended by Al-Koraihi Kanaan, Head of the Youth and Sports Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Nasr Harhra, Rapporteur of the National Assembly, and Aisha Talib, Member of the National Assembly.
