The Royal Court of Morocco issued a statemen indicating that the fifty-four-year old king suffered “an arterial rhythm disorder” on January 20th, 2018, and this problem was treated. King of Morocco regularly visits France as he owns a palace there and recently he underwent a surgical operation last September to remove a benign tumor from one of his eyes. King Mohamed succeeded his deceased father, King Al-Hasan the second, on the Moroccan thrown since July 1999.
