President Al-Zubaidi offers condolences on death of former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi, sent a cable of condolence to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the death of former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak.
In the cable, President Al-Zubaidi conveyed condolences and sympathy of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and the people of the South to President Al-Sisi and to the brotherly Egyptian people for this loss, stressing that the late President Mubarak was one of the influential leaders who fought efficiently in the military and political war against the enemies of the nation.
The cable said: “The people of the south remember with much gratitude and appreciation the brave position of the late President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, in his outright rejection of the war of the occupation of the south in the summer of 1994, and his public condemnation of the policy of the Sana’a regime at that time to impose unity by force on the people of the south.”
President Al-Zubaidi prayed to Allah Almighty to inspire the late President’s family, and the brotherly people of Egypt, patience and solace.
